Full Narrative
On October 16, 2016, about 1415 universal coordinated time, a Cessna 172P, Greek registration 5B-CLB, was destroyed when it impacted mountainous terrain while performing a cross-country training flight near Peloponnese, Greece. The Greek certificated instructor pilot and the student pilot were fatally injured. The local instructional flight originated at Megara Airport (LGMG), Megara, Greece.This accident investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Development, Infrastructure, Transport & Networks Air Accident Investigation and Aviation Safety Board of Greece.
