On October 3, 2016, about 1530 universal coordinated time, a Cessna 208B, Peruvian registration OB-1998-P, was substantially damaged when the left main landing gear separated from the airplane while taxiing at Contamana Airport (SPCM), Contamana, Peru. The two pilots and eight passengers were not injured. The flight was originating at the time of the accident and was destined for Captain David Abensur Rengifo International Airport (SPCL), Pucallpa, Peru.The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Peru.
