Full Narrative
On August 9, 2016, about 2156 universal coordinated time, a Cessna 172N, Colombian registration HK4822G, was substantially damaged when it impacted terrain near Fredonia, Antioquia, Colombia. The flight instructor and student pilot were fatally injured and the passenger was seriously injured. The instructional flight departed from Santa Ana Airport (SKGO), Cartago, Colombia, around 2049, with an intended destination of Medellin Enrique Olaya Herrera Airport (SKMD), Medellin, Colombia.
