Full Narrative
Initial Notification sent to NTSB by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation has appointed Federal Air Transport Agency (FATA) to investigate the incident of an Azurair Airlines B767-300 (VQ-BUO, S/N 27909) Left Hand Main Landing Gear bogey axle damaged during taxi for takeoff from Domodedovo, Russia to Bangkok, Thailand on February 26, 2016.
The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the FATA investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane. All investigative information will be released by FATA.
