Full Narrative

On June 10, 2014, about 1830 local (1630 UTC), a TunisAir Boeing 737-6H3, TS-IOK, operating as flight TU-4671, experienced a malfunction of the No. 1 (left) engine during the takeoff roll at Budapest, Hungary. The pilots rejected the takeoff. A borescope inspection revealed damage to the high pressure compressor.
