Full Narrative
On May 5, 2015, a Thrush Aircraft, Inc., S2R-T34, Ecuador registration HC-CBY, registered to and operated by Aerovic C.A., collided with terrain near Puebloviejo, Ecuador. Meteorological conditions and flight plan information are unknown for the flight from Pista Estrella, Ecuador, to Pista Vinces, Ecuador. The airplane sustained substantial damage, and the pilot, the sole occupant was fatally injured. The flight origination time was not determined.
According to preliminary information from Ecuador personnel, the airplane experienced loss of control in-flight, and impacted terrain.
