Full Narrative
On February 7, 2015, about 1100 universal coordinated time, a Cessna A188, Brazilian registration PT-LOA, was destroyed when it struck a high-tension powerline and impacted terrain while maneuvering over a soybean field near Tapes, Brazil. The pilot was fatally injured. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the local agricultural aerial application flight that was conducted under Brazilian flight regulations.
