Full Narrative

On May 12, 2014, at 0115 coordinated universal time, a Japanese registered Extra 300L airplane, JA111L, operated by a private individual, experienced a loss of engine power followed by a forced landing near Fukushima City, Japan. The pilot and one passenger sustained minor injuries. The airplane sustained damage to the left wing.
