Full Narrative
On May 14, 2014, about 1600 local time, a Cessna T206H, Ecuadorian registration HC-CFE, was substantially damaged when it impacted power lines while returning to land at Edmundo Carvajal Airport (SEMC), Macas, Ecuador, with smoke in the cockpit. The Ecuadorian commercial pilot and four passengers were seriously injured. The airplane, originally destined for Taisha Airport (SETH), Taisha, Ecuador, was operating under Ecuadorian flight regulations.
