On September 23, 2013, at 1950 universal coordinated time, a Cessna 182R, VH-AUT, collided with terrain near Hamilton Aerodrome, Australia. The flight was being operated under the pertinent civil regulations of Australia. The solo student pilot was fatally injured and the airplane was substantially damaged.
