On August 4, 2013, about 2230 universal coordinated time, an Embraer EMB-711ST (Piper PA-28RT-201T), Brazilian registration PT-RHI, operated by a private individual, was substantially damaged when it impacted terrain while on approach to the Aeroporto de Paragominas (SNEB), Paragominas, Brazil. The pilot, the sole occupant, was fatally injured. Night visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the personal flight that departed the Aeroporto Fazenda Nova Conceicao (SNZU), Tome Acu, Brazil.
