Full Narrative

On August 7, 2013, at 1328 coordinated universal time, a Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, B200, multi-engine airplane, TF-MYX, was destroyed when it impacted terrain near Akureyri Airport, (BIAR), Akureyri, Iceland. The three crewmembers were fatally injured. The airplane was operated by Mýflug Air and was returning from an air ambulance flight. The flight had departed from Reykjavík Airport, (BIRK), Reykjavík, Iceland, and was destined for BIAR.

The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Iceland. This report is for information purposes only and contains only information released by the Government of Iceland. The NTSB designated a U.S. Accredited Representative under the provisions of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Annex 13 as the state of design of the aircraft.
