Incident Narrative
An employee was moving a precast concrete manhole section and attached rigging to lift it from a flatbed truck using a mounted knuckle boom crane. The employee was using a remote control for the crane when the manhole load shifted and pinched his feet underneath it. The concrete disc swung back and pinned the employee's legs against the truck, resulting in fractures to their leg(s) and both feet.
