Incident Narrative
An employee was removing two empty electrical cabinets, a smaller one stacked on top of the larger one. The employee placed dollies at each end and secured the larger cabinet with ratchet straps. While rolling the cabinets out of the area, the smaller cabinet contacted something and slid down toward the employee's hand, pinching his right ring finger against the handle of the dolly. The employee required surgery and 1.5 inches of his finger was amputated.
