Incident Narrative
An employee was prepping a trailer load area by lowering the chute that drops packages into the trailer. As she pulled the chute down, her finger was crushed between the handle of the chute and a metal plate that was under the chute. The chute caused a severe laceration to her finger that required surgery and hospitalization.
