An employee was helping to replace a metal roof. The crew had set up roof anchors and self-retracting lifelines and was getting ready to install temporary metal panels over all existing skylights. The employee stepped backward and fell through a fiberglass skylight panel. He fell approximately 13 feet to the ground and was hospitalized with multiple rib fractures.
