Incident Narrative

An employee was standing on a flatbed trailer, securing a pickup truck to the trailer deck. The employee placed one strap on the front of the truck and two straps on the rear. He was walking around the pickup truck along the edge of the trailer on the driver's side when he misstepped and fell off the side of the trailer, landing on the ground. The employee sustained a fractured left hip, requiring surgery.
