Incident Narrative
An employee operating a sideloader was entering an aisle to retrieve a bundle of bars from a storage rack. The sideloader struck a bundle of bars at a lower position protruding from a different rack. The bars entered the cab and struck the employee's left foot, trapping it against the pan guard in the cab. The employee was hospitalized with a crush injury to the foot and required surgery on his big toe.
