Incident Narrative
An employee was on a scissor lift, removing pipe from an old sprinkler system using a portable band saw. While he was cutting a section of piping that was supported by a hanger in the ceiling, the hanger gave out. The pipe fell and bounced off the scissor lift; as the employee went to grab it, the saw partially amputated his right index finger and lacerated his right middle finger.
