Incident Narrative
An employee was lifting 4,300-pound sheets of metal using an overhead crane. The sheets being lifted slid away from the employee and fell onto a metal table, which then pushed the employee into a stack of metal sheets. The employee was pinned between the table and the stack, fracturing both legs below the knees. The employee was hospitalized and required surgery.
