A temporary employee was stacking sawdust bags. A mechanical jam occurred in the auger system used to move the sawdust material. The employee climbed a ladder to access the rooftop of the facility where the auger is located. While clearing the jam, the auger engaged and caught the employee's left arm, resulting in a traumatic amputation at the shoulder. The employee was hospitalized.
