On 3/27/2025, at approximately 8:00 AM, an employee was dismounting a mobile excavator after fueling it with diesel. He lost his balance, slipped, and fell approximately three feet, striking his rib cage against a metal step on the excavator. The employee sustained multiple left rib fractures and a partially collapsed left lung.
