On March 6, 2025, a maintenance technician was lubricating a live chain on a shaker used for cleaning oat hulls. Upon wiping off excess grease using a rag, the rag got caught in the sprocket and the employee's right hand was pulled into the in-going nip-point where the chain and sprocket met, resulting in amputation injuries to the second and third fingertips.
