Incident Narrative
An employee was using a peavey to separate two logs on the infeed conveyor to the chop saw. The employee fell 4 to 6 feet from the log infeed deck and struck the logs. The employee was hospitalized with fractures to multiple ribs and two vertebrae, and had a collapsed lung.
