Incident Narrative
An employee had a push mower on a lift so he could check that the blades were spinning as the throttle was operated. As he lifted the mower to put blocks under the wheels, his left hand went under the deck of the mower and his left ring finger was amputated between the first knuckle and the bottom of the fingernail.
