Incident Narrative
An employee was performing snow removal and salting walkways. He exited the work van to place a bucket of salt in the rear of the van. There was ice on the ground underneath the snow. He went to step forward and slipped and fell on the ice, striking his leg on a wooden pole behind him. The employee was hospitalized with a broken femur.
