Incident Narrative

Two employees were removing the top of a dehumidification unit using reciprocating saws. One employee was cutting on top of the unit while the other cut below the top. The top gave way, and the employee on top fell about 8 feet, landing chest-first on the base of the unit. The employee suffered a broken wrist, broken ribs on the right side, and a broken sternum.
