Incident Narrative
An employee was using pressurized air to blow hot thermoplastic material from a pressurized line in a thermoplastic striper machine out into a pan. An open valve caused the molten plastic to come out into the pan with force and then strike the employee's right hand, arm, and face resulting in third-degree burns.
