Incident Narrative
On September 18, 2024, at approximately at 3:30 PM, a plumber was installing new water lines by the attic in a new residential house. The employee was standing on a 6-foot A-frame ladder at a height of about 4 feet. He supported his arms on the wooden structure of the house, specifically on a 2-inch by 6-inch board. The board fell and hit the ladder, and the employee fell with the ladder onto the concrete floor, sustaining injuries to his back and arm. The employee was hospitalized.
