Incident Narrative
An employee was operating a zero-turn lawn mower. He was approaching a pipe gate when the mower got stuck on some large rocks. The employee applied more gas to the lawn mower and the mower went forward off a rock. The mower deck then went under the gate and the employee's right leg struck the pipe gate. The employee sustained a fractured right tibia requiring hospitalization.
