Incident Narrative

On August 8, 2024, an employee was operating a printing press when he noticed an ink drip. As he moved the plate cylinder into position to clean the printing plate, a rag wrapped around his right hand was pulled into an anilox roller. His right little and ring fingers became caught between the printing plate and roller cylinders, resulting in a partial amputation to the little finger and degloving of the ring finger.
