Incident Narrative

Six employees were exposed to chlorine gas emitted from chemicals that were mixed together for pool cleaning services (occurred when sulfuric acid was added to the storage tank of an outdoor pool sanitation system that contained sodium hypochlorite). Three employees were hospitalized for chlorine gas poisoning.
