Incident Narrative
An employee was waiting in the cab of a service truck for machines to be serviced on a construction site. When the front-end loader arrived, the employee exited their vehicle and started unrolling fuel hoses from the rear of the service truck. A skid steer approached and the bucket of the skid steer pinned the employee against the service truck. The employee sustained a broken rib, lacerated liver, and an injured spleen. The employee was hospitalized.
