Incident Narrative

An employee was unjamming a skid that was stuck on a conveyor. While trying to move the skid, the employee placed their right hand on the bobbin for balance and their left hand on the skid. The empty bobbin slid off the holding posts and came down on the employee's left hand, crushing their ring finger and amputating the middle fingertip.
