Incident Narrative

An employee was on a 5-foot ladder trying to remove a motor weighing about 200 lbs. from an auger. They had loosened it and were trying to manipulate it to set it up to be lifted. The motor wasn't giving and they lost their balance and fell 4-5 feet to the ground below. The employee sustained a broken tibia and fibula.
