Incident Narrative

Employees were loading and unloading a trailer. The injured worker was stacking boxes that came loose from a pallet on the trailer onto an empty one just outside the trailer entrance. Another pallet of freight that contained boxes of merchandise fell on top of him. The employee sustained five broken ribs and a laceration above the eye.
