An employee was using a forklift to move a wall-mounted jib crane, secured onto a pallet by the shipper, from one place to another on a dock. The crane fell backwards and the employee's left hand was caught between it and the frame of the forklift. The employee suffered amputations to the left middle and index fingers (with nail loss), as well as lacerations to the ring finger requiring stitches.
