Incident Narrative
A sanitation associate was operating an electric front-riding pallet jack. While making a turn, the pallet jack contacted a piece of angle iron that was installed in front of the opportunity chargers in the battery room area. The employee was thrown from the pallet jack and struck the back of their head on the concrete floor. The employee sustained a skull fracture with a brain injury and a back injury and they were hospitalized.
