Incident Narrative

Two employees were working below a roof rack while a porch roof was being set. A gust of wind moved the roof rack of the first floor walls, causing the support straps to move out of balance. The rack became unstable and fell from the wall onto the two employees. One employee sustained fractures to his jaw and both eye sockets, requiring hospitalization. The other employee was hit on the chest but did not require hospitalization.
