An employee was removing a pin that was holding together a bucket and a hydraulic cylinder on a skid steer by using a hammer and a hole punch. When the pin was pushed out, the bucket shifted causing the hole punch to move and pinch their left ring finger. They sustained an amputation to the fingertip.
