Incident Narrative

On April 18, 2024, at approximately 7:30 a.m., in the interstitial space in the attic at a customer location, an electrical apprentice was investigating a potentially damaged electrical conduit/fitting when an arc flash occurred. The employee was hospitalized and treated for first- and second-degree burns to the face and neck, and second- and third-degree burns on the right arm.
