An employee was using a drill press to drill an auger pipe. While removing a metal chip, the employee's left glove was caught by the drill bit. The employee sustained lacerations to the left arm, fractures to both bones of the forearm, and a dislocated finger. The employee was hospitalized. The drill press was guarded at the time.
