An employee entered into an aerial lift with another worker in order to perform capital form work for an overpass bridge. The employee stepped out of the aerial lift basket and onto the wooden scaffold platform. The worker fell through the platform's walking surface and onto the ground approximately 20 feet below. The employee sustained broken vertebrae and multiple contusions.
