Incident Narrative

On March 16, 2024, at approximately 8:00PM, an employee delivered a car to a private residence using a flatbed (rollback) wrecker. After removing the vehicle from the flatbed, the employee was winding the winch cable to secure the hook to the bed when his finger was caught between the hook and the bed, causing an amputation to the fingertip. The employee was hospitalized and required surgery.
