Incident Narrative

An employee was removing a section of pipe to access valves that needed to be replaced on a brewing machine when a valve was opened. This caused hot wort (220 degrees Fahrenheit) to splash on him at an unknown pressure. He sustained second degree burns to his chin, cheeks, forehead, the left side of his chest, left arm, left hand, and right hand.
