Incident Narrative

An employee was operating a powered industrial truck (PIT). The employee exited the PIT to move a piece of wood that had been pinned under its wheel. The PIT moved and pinned the employee between it and a steel building support column. The employee sustained shoulder and chest injuries including broken ribs and was hospitalized.
