Incident Narrative
An employee was operating a forklift and driving out of a freezer onto the dock area. The vehicle struck a metal protective barrier near its drive tire, causing the forklift to spin. When the forklift came to a halt, the force of stopping caused the employee to fall off the vehicle to the ground. The employee was hospitalized with head and neck trauma.
