Incident Narrative
An employee was cleaning the back of a work trailer and went to move a manhole ring and lid that was on a stack of other manhole rings and lids. Their left middle finger became caught between the inside edge of the ring and the outside edge of the lid. The finger was crushed and fractured resulting in amputation of the fingertip and last joint.
