Incident Narrative

An employee was dumping trash into the compactor from a rolling utility tilt cart. While lowering the utility cart from the tilted position to dump the trash, the employee s right little finger was caught between the cart s metal frame and the compactor frame. The employee suffered a fingertip amputation.
