Incident Narrative
Two employees were feeding new fabric onto a hydroentanglement machine. The machine was opened to allow access to the rollers. The injured employee's hand was on a section of the fabric when it was drawn toward an injector nozzle. Their hand was caught between the roller and the nozzle. The employee suffered crush injuries to the top of their hand, resulting in swelling, bruising, and lacerations.
